At the time of writing this, Connie Johnston is starting to apply for our next Raffle license. Once we have the license, we will get information out and will also be handing out tickets at the State Session so we can save on a bunch of postage.
I look forward to hearing from you if you have any suggestions for future fund raisers. We need to think of things we can reach outside of the Grange Membership circle to bring in other sources of funds. Stay tuned….
Well, hello everyone. I hope you have all been saving those Grange Dollars!! I can’t wait to see how many are turned in at State Session in Three Rivers. I know we are all struggling this year to fund our Subordinate Granges, so if you are like my Grange, we have been saving them but have turned them to our treasury to help with our bills to run our Grange Hall. We are also collecting “Pennies from Heaven”, so bring your loose change as well. It doesn’t have to be rolled and ready to take to the bank as I can take them to my local Credit Union where they have a coin counting machine! So, bring as much or as little as you can!
If you are coming to State Session in Three Rivers this October, we will have Silent Auction tables for the State Grange, and the Host Region is having one as well. Please come prepared to bid, bid high and bid high often!

Just a quick update on our Fundraising efforts for this year. We are collecting the Grange Dollars again this year. Anyone can do this as you just need to watch for the Dollar Bills with a “G” on it. For those that want to donate and not watch for the Grange Dollars, we will take any loose coins or paper currency that you would like to bring to the State Session that is hosted in Three Rivers this October.

We are planning to apply for our Raffle License with the State. We are going to have numerous prizes drawn for this time around as several State Grange Officers have donated prizes as well as a member from Burns Grange. Thank you so much for the donations! We will be selling the tickets for $5.00 each as you have more chances of winning a prize. At this current time (beginning of July), we will not be drawing the winners at this year’s State Session in Three Rivers. We want to give everyone plenty of time to get tickets to sell plus we will hand out tickets to help save on postage by sending them to each Grange and State Officer / Department Director. The date and place have yet to be determined but it will be in 2027 at this point. We hope to plan a fun event where we will also draw the winning tickets.
