MAY/JUNE 2026 GRANGE NEWS
Grow the Grange is our Theme for this year’s Raffle. Our list has GROWN for raffle prize donations. As stated before, we have been given a beautiful hand made Quilt by Naomi Fletcher which will be the 1st place prize. Peggy Johnston and Dale Moore have donated a 32” flat screen TV and a crock pot. We also have a number of gift cards to Lowes, Shell Gas and Home Depot, an ice cream maker, a portable air pump, a cooler and items to go with it and another quilt. There might be one or two items that I haven’t been told. If you have something new that you would like to donate, please let myself, Peggy or Connie know very soon. Connie needs to start applying for the license with the State. The drawing of the winners will be at the State Grange Session’s Annual Banquet in Three Rivers, MI. More to come on this project.
Thank you so much to everyone that helped with the fundraising efforts in 2025. I look forward to what we can all accomplish in 2026 when we work together. Every little extra we put in the bank account keeps us from needing funds transferred from the Invested Funds.

Well, hello everyone. Just a few reminders of our upcoming or ongoing fund-raising efforts for the Michigan State Grange. We are continuing to do the “G” Dollars again this year. It is a fun way to raise funds for the State Grange. Any amount helps, even $2.00 “G” Bills!!!
Do you have pocket change that you don’t want to keep?? We will take any and all of your change! Our “Coins from Heaven” campaign will be collected at our State Session in October. If you have just a few coins on you when you are there, we will take them off your hands as it all adds up for the MSG!

Just a quick update on our Fundraising efforts for this year. We are collecting the Grange Dollars again this year. Anyone can do this as you just need to watch for the Dollar Bills with a “G” on it. For those that want to donate and not watch for the Grange Dollars, we will take any loose coins or paper currency that you would like to bring to the State Session that is hosted in Three Rivers this October.

We are planning to apply for our Raffle License with the State. We are going to have numerous prizes drawn for this time around as several State Grange Officers have donated prizes as well as a member from Burns Grange. Thank you so much for the donations! We will be selling the tickets for $5.00 each as you have more chances of winning a prize. At this current time (beginning of July), we will not be drawing the winners at this year’s State Session in Three Rivers. We want to give everyone plenty of time to get tickets to sell plus we will hand out tickets to help save on postage by sending them to each Grange and State Officer / Department Director. The date and place have yet to be determined but it will be in 2027 at this point. We hope to plan a fun event where we will also draw the winning tickets.
